Many people have been effected both indirectly and directly by cancer. Cancer is a disease that kills people we know, our loved ones, and sometimes us. But because of how widespread cancer is, it has prompted many researchers to search for a better, more reliable treatment than chemo and radiation therapy. One of these experimental treatments is gene therapy. Gene therapy has been used in clinical trials across the world to try and help cancer patients into remission.
